Our Commitment to Sustainability
We know every product and parcel has an impact. That’s why we focus on practical, thoughtful choices throughout our business—from the way orders are packaged to how clothing and other materials are reused or recycled.
Thoughtful Packaging
We use paper cushioning instead of bubble wrap wherever possible. Orders are dispatched in either an r3pack recyclable and compostable courier bag or POLLAST!C packaging made using recycled ocean-bound plastic collected throughout Southeast Asia.
We encourage packaging to be reused where possible. Eligible soft-plastic packaging can also be recycled in New Zealand through the Soft Plastics Recycling Scheme.
Responsible Printing
Our printing partners use inks that meet recognised OEKO-TEX® standards for harmful substances. Used inks are also collected for recycling at the end of their usable life.
Our products are printed to order, meaning they are produced in response to customer orders rather than being printed in large quantities and held as excess stock.
Reuse & Recycling
We reuse boxes and suitable supplier packaging wherever possible, helping materials stay in use for longer before being recycled.
We also recycle materials including glass, cardboard, courier strips and thermal-label backing. Soft plastics are sent through the Soft Plastics Recycling Scheme, while toner and ink cartridges are returned through Brother’s recycling programme.
Textile waste is diverted from landfill through UPPAREL, where clothing and textiles can be reused, repurposed or transformed into new materials such as cotton and polyester fill.
Giving Back
Suitable clothing is donated through organisations such as Koha Apparel, helping keep wearable clothing in use while supporting people in our community.
